The following info applies to permanent residency only:
- Our Visa agents are registered with MARA - these agents have signed a code of conduct that protect your best interests.
- STEP 1 : free pre-assessment - a free assessment by Gomigrate to see if you qualify for a VISA. We will then advise you on the path to follow, free of charge. We do not leave specific Visa info on our site as we have found that this simply causes further confusion for our clients.
- STEP 2 : start your process - this involves making a payment and starting your Visa paperwork with our qualified agents. Your application involves a skills assessment to get your skills accepted by Australia and then making the Visa application. Delays can be caused by home affairs and booking an English test.
- STEP 3 : 12 month wait - this wait can be shorter but generally it takes about 12 months for your permanent residency to be granted. You will be an Australian resident before you even leave your current country of residence. Your whole family (spouse and children) obtains residency from a single Visa.
- STEP 4 : recruitment - you have around 12 months after your Visa is granted to find work. This is more than enough time and we will assist you here where possible.
- STEP 5 : relocation - once you have everything sorted out you begin the process of getting over to Australia. Speak to us about what removal serivces to use and how to book flights.
